A council run water park has issued clarity after a mum raised concerns over CCTV cameras in the facility's changing rooms.
Splash World Southport reopened in late May ahead of a very busy few summer months. Reopening last Saturday (May 27), the attraction has already welcomed back families in their droves as the warm weather well and truly arrives.
But one mum has raised concerns of the facility's use of CCTV in the changing areas. Sefton Council, which runs Splash World, has since issued calm over the matter.

Taking to Twitter, user Caffy (@caffyhank) posted on Friday: "I was here yesterday with my kids getting unchanged in the family changing room to see a camera watching us. I felt freaked out, what is the meaning of this?"
Caffy also posted a photo of the camera, which showed the CCTV camera above where she and her children were getting read.
Sefton Council has since issued calm, teling LancsLive that the camera is has a fixed view of the locker area and cannot look elsewhere in the room.
A spokesperson for Sefton Council said: "We can understand people's concerns but would like to reassure them that this is a fixed view camera which monitors the public area around lockers.
"It is located to give the best coverage of the lockers to provide Splash World's visitors with added security for their belongings. This is an industry standard provision and similar CCTV systems are in operation across other leisure centres.
"The camera concerned does not move and cannot be used to view any other part of the changing village. We are sorry if this has caused any worries and we are happy to show proof of this to the family who expressed concerns and invite them back to Splash World if they wish to do so."
Sefton Council is hoping to share exactly what the camera shows in the near future to put to bed worries once and for all.
