A crash involving a car and motorcycle left the A31 eastbound blocked near Wimborne. Motorists were moving slowly on the road between Merley roundabout and Canford Bottom roundabout.
Traffic monitoring system Inrix reports the crash took place around 5.30pm today (June 8). There are also reports of heavy traffic westbound.
Inrix says: "A31 Eastbound blocked, heavy traffic due to accident, a car and motorcycle involved between A349 ( Merley Roundabout) and B3073 (Canford Bottom Roundabout). Also heavy traffic heading westbound too."
The road reopened and traffic cleared by 7.20pm
